About the team:
Our team develops and maintains robust distributed systems that support Walmart’s eCommerce and supply chain operations by efficiently processing high transaction volumes. We focus on capturing and analyzing transaction data from multiple sources to promptly identify and resolve potential disruptions. Emphasizing scalable platform design, iterative development, and continuous delivery, we ensure real-time, accurate information for clients. Collaboration and technical expertise drive our efforts to build reliable solutions that enhance operational performance and customer experience across Walmart’s digital ecosystem.   What you'll do:
  • Analyze and classify requirements to align with business and technical objectives, ensuring comprehensive scoping and estimation.
  • Design scalable software solutions by evaluating trade-offs and converting high-level designs into detailed functional modules.
  • Develop maintainable, testable code adhering to coding standards and security policies across multiple platforms and languages.
  • Create and execute test cases to identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support regression testing.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet customer and business needs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding standards using languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automation scripting, and telemetry implementation.

  • Skilled in code review, debugging, defect management, and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
