Senior Software Engineer - Ansible

We're seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with Ansible experience for a full-time opportunity! As a member of the Development Services team, you will work alongside other talented software developers, test professionals, and consultants to deliver high-value technical solutions for our business, focusing on the creation of products that are consumed by CSC's business units. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong technical aptitude and experience as a senior level developer, be able to drive forward the product-based focus for the enterprise, as well as consult with cross-functional partners as they begin their product development. Some of the things you will be doing:

• Lead process improvements, cost reduction efforts, and tool development to improve the software development life cycle and support process in a way that reduces complexity, improves service, and reduces cost
• Provide technical guidance and direction to other Software Engineers on the design, development, security, infrastructure, testing, and implementation functions of Automated Products for the Enterprise Technology business unit offerings.
• Develop Ansible collections, roles, and playbooks to automate product delivery.
• Contribute to the analysis and design of new products, services, and offerings
• Provide technical input to business analysts in the creation of user stories for Developer Services automations
• Implement and maintain security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Coordinate technical solutions across development teams.
• Coach other developers in the USA, EMEA and APAC and lead design reviews.
• Implement automated tests and deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with technology owners in developing automation roadmaps for their areas
• Contribute to production support and debugging across the Developer Services suite of automated products, working with other software engineers.
• Ensure a stable platform for customer access including monitoring and alerting through Elastic

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need:

• Expert -evel Ansible experience
• CI/CD methodologies using Jenkins/Jenkins DSL, Github, especially crafting and maintaining a successful release process, involving multiple dependencies and applications
• Strong commitment to Agile concepts and execution
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A desire to work on a global Agile/Scrum software development team
