Senior Software Engineer (Android)

We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team.

• Assist in setting the technical direction for our Android app.

• Ensure the health and performance of the app consistently exceeds customer expectations.

• Empower and coach team members and colleagues across the organization to achieve their best.

• Lead development on impactful features that benefit our 13m+ users.

• Utilize A/B testing to rapidly iterate and enhance user experiences.

• Continuously modernize our Android codebase while meeting product roadmap goals.

• Elevate code quality by increasing unit test coverage.

• Collaborate closely with product teams to define and refine new features.

• 4+ years of experience building, testing, releasing, and maintaining Android apps in Java and Kotlin.

• Proficient with Jetpack Libraries.

• Advocate for clean code, solid architecture, and strong testing practices.

• Able to take a holistic product view and work within cross-functional teams.

• Experienced in setting up and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure to deliver value continuously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Motivated to learn and teach through collaboration.

• Substantial experience with Git in a team environment.

• Skilled in working with relational databases.

• Comfortable with RESTful APIs and MVVM or MVI architecture patterns.

• Experience migrating large legacy codebases to modern standards.

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.

• Experience with Dagger and Hilt.

• Proficiency in Kotlin Coroutines.

• Exposure to GraphQL.
