We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer (all genders) to join our dynamic and innovative engineering team in Munich! In this role, you will develop, test, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions that drive our business forward and enhance user experiences, playing a key role in shaping the future of parking.

You will take ownership of your work, collaborating closely with the Product Manager and a team of talented engineers to ensure our systems are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals. What to expect

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions based on project requirements, taking ownership of the technical development process

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software while proactively identifying potential areas for improvement

• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality standards and drive team development through shared learning

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and drive innovation

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs

• Ensure the security and data protection of applications

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers

• Our tech stack: Python, PostgresSQL, AWS, Kafka

Inspire us by

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of proven experience in software development, especially backend

• Expertise in object-oriented and/or server-side programming with Python

• Hands-on experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL

• Strong grasp of RESTful service architecture and API design principles

• Knowledgeable in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure

• Hands-on experience in building up CI/CD pipelines and with containerization technologies

• Exceptional problem-solving skills paired with keen attention to detail

Extra points vor

• Hands-on in Linux

• Experience with Kafka or any other enterprise-grade event/message-based middleware

• Experience with distributed systems

• Experience with infrastructure as Code (IaC) (preferably Terraform)
