Help redefine how software is built by leading AI-powered application modernisation at enterprise scale.
Join a world-class engineering team building the platforms, tooling and agentic workflows transforming software delivery.
Work with industry-leading AI technologies, modern cloud architectures and engineering platforms used by thousands of engineers.
Do work that matters
We’re building a world-class AI Powered Engineering capability helping more than 8,000 engineers deliver software faster, safer and more efficiently. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing and building the engineering systems, platforms and AI-powered workflows that drive application modernisation across the Group.
You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering, developer platforms and agentic AI, helping create modern delivery pathways that take applications from discovery and specification through implementation, automated validation, review and release. This is an opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges, influence the future of software delivery and create tangible impact at scale.
See yourself in our team
You’ll join a deeply technical and highly engaged AI Powered Engineering team, responsible for building engineering capabilities used across the organisation. Working closely with software engineers, architects, platform teams, security specialists and AI practitioners, you’ll help create the foundations for the next generation of software development and application modernisation.
In this role, you will:
Design and build workflows for application discovery, behavioural capture, specification, implementation, validation and release.
Develop tools that analyse existing applications and generate structured migration plans and engineering context.
Build reusable React and TypeScript frameworks, scaffolds and engineering accelerators.
Create agentic engineering workflows with governance, resilience and human oversight built in.
Develop context engineering capabilities that utilise architecture, repository and domain knowledge.
Establish benchmarks, evaluations and quality measures for AI-assisted engineering outcomes.
Integrate engineering capabilities with source control, CI/CD pipelines and engineering telemetry platforms.
Partner with engineering teams to solve complex modernisation challenges and convert successful approaches into reusable capabilities.
