We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to be a cornerstone of our core platform. We have a team of brilliant AI researchers; your mission is to be the engineering leader who turns brilliant ideas into robust, scalable, and maintainable software. We need an engineer who has built, scaled, and refactored complex systems and who is passionate about engineering craftsmanship. What You’ll Do:
- Architect and build critical backend services and scalable APIs (Python/Go) that power our AI assurance platform.
- Own the full lifecycle of major platform components—from initial design and architecture through to deployment, monitoring, and long-term maintenance.
- Partner with Product, Design, and our AI research teams to translate complex requirements into pragmatic, robust technical solutions.
- Mentor other engineers and elevate the team's engineering standards through insightful code reviews, design discussions, and sharing your hard-won experience.
- Work across the stack, connecting our powerful backend (Go/Python) to the polished interfaces (React) that deliver clarity to our users.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping and maintaining large-scale, high-availability systems.
- Deep expertise in our primary stack (Python and/or Go) and experience with modern frontend frameworks (React).
- A strong, fundamental CS background and engineering-first mindset, likely demonstrated by past experience in a strongly-typed or systems-level language like Java, C#, or C++.
- A pragmatic mindset. You've seen projects succeed and fail, and you've learned from both. You know when to build for the future and when to ship now.
- Mastery of system design, microservices, distributed systems, and robust API design.
- Bonus: Experience with data-intensive applications, enterprise UX, or internal tools.
