Senior Software Engineer, AdTech

Role

We are seeking talented Senior Software Engineers to join us as part of our team! In this role, you will be in the heart of our mission and responsible for helping to build out our products (ProRata Ads, Gist.ai, and more). You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software. This is an in-office role at our location in Bellevue, WA. 
 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders and other stakeholders to define software requirements and deliver solutions that meet our business needs

• Design scalable, reliable, and secure software applications & infrastructure

• Support the team's technical decision-making, code reviews, and build best practices for ProRata Ads

• Optimize existing code to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience

• 4+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong communication and analytics skills

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices

• Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Rust) 

• Experience with unit & integration testing in pytest; jest, SQL (Postgres); indexes; Redis or other nosql / cache; version control / Git

• Passion for ProRata's mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AdTech and/or LLMs
  

Work Environment

Location: This position is Onsite. This role is based at our Bellevue, WA office location, and employees are expected to work on-site during regular business hours. 

Compensation

The compensation for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The estimated salary range for this role is 160,000 -200,000 USD.
