The Group Finance team provides financial support, insights and advice to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team and Board including the Group Results presentation and Annual report. We support the Group’s strategy of building tomorrow’s bank today for our customers, through a focus on three key priorities of trust, resilience and capital generation.
You will be a part of the Capital & Regulatory Reporting Crew, which is responsible for:
- Providing accurate enriched credit risk data to downstream users;
- Providing capital and reporting guidance; and
- Overseeing the delivery of all regulatory capital and reporting changes. This includes ensuring that capital and regulatory reporting is correctly updated to reflect any new product offerings, business process changes, all upstream system upgrades and enhancements are catered for, updated risk modelling outcomes are reflected; and building out enhancements to internal reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- ETL Development: Design, Develop and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
- Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Technical Leadership: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholder to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Trouble shooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ETL processes and data integration
Skill & Experience required:
- Extensive experience in ETL development, using Ab Initio
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio, Unix/Linux, SQL and scripting languages such as shell or Perl
- Experience and knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS)
- Infrastructure as code using AWS CDK/Terraform/CloudFormation/SST
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity or Octopus
- Strong Analytical, Problem - Solving and communication skills
- Relevant Certifications in Ab Initio or data Integration are a plus
