We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong hands-on engineering with the ability to collaborate across engineering, QA, and product management teams.
You will join a collaborative, fast-moving team of software engineers who own the full lifecycle of application development - from design through implementation and deployment. - Contribute as a senior member of the software engineering team, collaborating to deliver on priorities developed in conjunction with the product management group.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Node.js/Express.
- Develop and maintain responsive front-end applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, and React.js, including geospatial visualization features built with OpenLayers.
- Interact with supporting data systems, including SQL Server, MongoDB, and BigQuery to support scalable, high-performance applications.
Competitive Candidate Profile
- Strong backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Apache Struts.
- Frontend development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, or React.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices using GitHub.
- Experience working with SQL Server, MongoDB, and/or BigQuery.
Skills that stand out
- Experience with legacy Java frameworks such as Apache Struts, and modernizing them onto current stacks.
