The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field or foreign equivalent preferred.
Experience:
-
5+ years of experience in Web Development with a focus on HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript (ES6+); experience with one or more other languages. Experience with Java and/or VueJS is also an asset, but not required.

Significant experience with at least one server-side MPA templating language - think JSP, Nuxt.js, Astro, ASP.NET, or WordPress PHP templating.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript (ES6+); experience with one or more other languages. Experience with Java and/or VueJS is also an asset, but not required.

Comfortable using the tools of modern collaborative Agile+Scrum SDLC, including Git, Jira, planning poker, etc.

Ideally, you’ll also have a meticulous eye for design and rigorously check your own work for quality and precision, even before QA and stakeholder review.

Willingness to learn new technologies and grow as a developer.
