This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end testing governance, test automation, test data management, and DevTestOps practices to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable software releases.

As a key member of our Agile delivery team, you will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the development process while championing testing best practices across Scrum teams.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Establish and govern Software Integration Testing (SIT) processes to ensure predictable and high-quality releases prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Design and implement an end-to-end test data strategy, ensuring efficient and proactive test data preparation aligned with business requirements and application design.
  • Drive the adoption of DevTestOps practices by integrating testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, CircleCI, and similar technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to promote testable code and quality engineering principles, leveraging Agile practices such as TDD, ATDD, XP, and FDD.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines and streamline quality gates.
  • Define testing methodologies, frameworks, and test architectures that support scalable software delivery.
  • Lead or manage external development vendors and SIT testing teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
  • Identify test requirements, create comprehensive test strategies, and ensure adequate test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and manual testing where automation is not feasible.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, test data, validation mechanisms, and supporting test artefacts.
  • Monitor test execution progress and implement dashboard-driven reporting to improve visibility and reduce manual effort.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product releases.
  • Track, manage, and report software defects and quality metrics to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a quality advocate and champion testing best practices across Agile Scrum teams.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering roles.

  • Hands-on experience implementing testing practices within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and quality engineering principles.
  • Experience with Agile testing approaches including TDD, ATDD, BDD, XP, and related software engineering practices.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, test strategy development, test governance, and defect management.
  • Experience in test data management and environment coordination across multiple applications and teams.
  • Proven ability to lead testing initiatives and manage third-party vendors or development partners.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, telecommunications, or large-scale digital transformation projects is an added advantage.

What We Offer
  • Opportunity to shape and lead quality engineering transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to modern DevOps, DevTestOps, and cloud-native delivery practices.
  • Collaborative Agile working environment with cross-functional teams.
