The Opportunity
The Observability team in Adobe Experience Platform is building scalable, performant services and tools to get insights on AEP Customers’ metrics.
For this we need your help. If you already have expertise in developing on top of the JVM platform (Java, Scala, Kotlin), know how to build applications and web services at scale and you are interested in learning new technologies, we would be very interested in talking to you to explore a possible collaboration.
What you'll do:
Create the future Adobe products by building and maintaining complex features in a large-scale, multi-cloud microservices SaaS product.
Own the outcome by taking the initiative and ownership for the application design efforts while always optimizing for quality, scalability and performance.
Be genuine, serve as a mentor, cultivate a collaborative environment and encourage and guide team members by being honest and direct.
Work with and across teams and domains to collaborate. Act with clarity and precision, ensuring projects are driven with a strong sense of ownership and direction.
What you need to succeed:
Computer Science degree and 7+ years of relevant work experience
Strong understanding on developing, architecting and running SaaS type of products
Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software life-cycle, source control tools
Proven ability to research and become proficient in new technologies
Experience with cloud services platforms (AWS and Azure)
Experience with Java Virtual Machine related languages and technologies
Knowledge in both building but also operating a service: CI/CD deployments, monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk), Kubernetes-based deployments, infrastructure as code and provisioning tools (Terraform)
Agile / Scrum project management methodologies
