Adobe is redefining how enterprises harness data for customer experience. As a Software Development Engineer, you’ll be a technical leader driving the evolution of Adobe’s Experience Platform. You’ll architect scalable systems, influence governance strategy, and build tools that empower data-driven innovation across industries.

What You’ll Build
- Distributed microservices for data ingestion, transformation, and governance.
- Metadata-driven APIs that support lineage tracking, policy enforcement, and federated access control.
- AI-enhanced developer tools for compliance automation and anomaly detection.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering, preferably in cloud-native environments.
- Expertise in Java, or Python; experience with distributed systems.
- Passion for building resilient, scalable, and secure systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to influence across teams.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
