Cordance is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join Upright Labs and help shape their product and technology. Their stack includes Rails (backend), React.js with TypeScript (frontend), Postgres DB, and Sidekiq for background jobs, running on AWS and Heroku. They use GitHub Actions for CI, Sentry for error tracking, Datadog for monitoring, and GitHub for source control. They continuously evolve our tech and welcome innovative solutions.
This is a fully remote role; all candidates must reside with full work authorization in the US
Who you are:
- Have 5+ years of experience working on large-scale web applications.
- Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Enjoy collaborating with customers and product teams to build the best solutions.
- Confident in your technical decisions but open to feedback and change.
- Self-starter eager to contribute from day one.
- Curious about the system and grow into a product expert over time.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of their stack, drive decision-making, and lead new feature development.
- Work across Rails (backend) and React (frontend) to build and improve our platform.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine features and enhance user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability.
- Play a key role in making Upright Labs the best e-commerce software for retailers.
