Location Details: Iasi, Romania

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office in lasi to meet with your team for events or meetings.

We are looking for a dedicated software engineer who has a keen understanding of high-performance, scalable architectures and technologies. You will have an active role in developing and supporting software that drives the world's largest domain name registrar and web hosting provider. This position is on the Registrar Platform handling domain name management and provisioning. You will be working as part of the GoDaddy EMEA domains team, with a focus on building a unified, high-performance, globally scalable domains platform!

What you'll get to do...

• Designing and developing software solutions for high performance, high availability, low maintenance, and easy diagnosis of problems
• Writing clean, scalable code using C#/GoLang and other programming languages
• Resolving production issues detected by monitoring systems, data checks, or customer support tickets in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborating with immediate team and peer teams to produce reusable software solutions that meet business initiatives and employ consistent design patterns
• Test and deploy applications using our existing CI/CD pipeline and help improve it
• Providing suggestions to improve our customers’ experience
• Document changes through the development lifecycle

Your experience should include...

• 4+ years of working experience on enterprise-grade applications
• Knowledge in at least one Object Orientated programming language (Java/C#, etc) and a transactional database system (SQL Server / MySQL / etc)
• Knowledge of sub-versioning system Git
• Experience with Web Services and RESTful API development and consumption
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Service Oriented Architecture
• Proficient English level – both verbal and written

You might also have...

• Knowledge of Cloud Based Platforms (AWS) is a plus
• Familiar with automated testing
• Familiar with deployment to public cloud (AWS) and On Prem systems
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies
