Tom’s Guide is Future’s biggest tech brand, bringing the latest tech news and views to millions of highly engaged consumers across multiple platforms. We're looking for a Senior Video Editor to help develop and shape Tom’s Guide’s growing video content. This hybrid role will report to the Managing Producer.
What you'll be doing…
You’ll work with the Tom’s Guide video and editorial team to
- Edit mid and short-form digital content ranging from 90-second clips to 10 minute-plus documentaries.
- Come up with new ways to present our content, and developing video series with graphic treatments.
- Help our in-house editor and a rota of freelance editors manage editing priorities
- Provide initial rounds of editing feedback based on our best practices and quality control checklist
- Keep up with the nature of the tech industry’s product release cycle.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
- 3+ years of experience end-to-end editing of short-form video packages in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Create detailed rough-cuts and assemblies.
- Provide rounds of editing feedback.
- A passion and understanding of today’s viral video content.
- Experience setting up shoots for digital content.
- General knowledge of legal and rights including copyright and consent is desirable.

Please note, the salary range for this position is: $71,000 - $76,000.
This is a position covered under a collective bargaining agreement between Future US, Inc. and the Writers Guild of America East.
