Senior Site Design Engineer - Automation Systems Integration

We're seeking an innovative Design Lead to support the design, programming, and coordination of automation systems and their integration with facility systems for customer fulfillment programs. The successful candidate will support the cross-functional team responsible for setting Walmart ASR's design criteria and system design templates/configurations.
What you'll work on:
- Lead design activities with Walmart ASR teams, including creating content plans, sections, elevations, details, and one-lines
- Create and update Revit native parametric families
- Develop advanced design technologies and integrate new tools into existing workflows
- Facilitate design workshops to drive alignment on key issues for new system designs
- Support multidisciplinary teams in creating sustainable, efficient, and standardized customer fulfillment building designs
- Direct third-party architects, engineers, and designers in creating building design templates
- Support Bluebeam and BIM360 design reviews and execute BIM360 features
- Mentor firms and internal teams on modeling and delivery methodologies
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated expertise in software programs for Revit, Bluebeam, BIM360, Navisworks, Dynamo and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Building design & construction project management experience from programming, design, construction, and operations including project planning for scope, schedule, and costs.
- Proven experience implementing and managing a building design program including development of templates (aka prototypes), technical specifications, and design standards.
- A hands-on servant leader with a practical approach to solving problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering OR equivalent experience (5+ years of experience in architecture, structure mechanical or electrical engineering and program management).
The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative BIM processes and experience leading both internal and outsourced teams in a dynamic setting. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders, including Applications Engineering, Installation/Construction, and Deployment Teams to develop comprehensive, coordinated program workflows.
