Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Shipside Operations Specialist (Level 4) to support the Military Delivery Center - Line Side Control Center (LSCC) Flight Line team in Tukwila, WA!
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues
  • Use advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
  • Utilize tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues
  • May analyze and interpret data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues
  • Coordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues
  • Provides coaching and instruction to other teammates
  • Facilitate ongoing coordination and closure of open SAT items
  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
  • 3+ years of experience with MESci, CMES, REDARS & PSDS
  • 3+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research
  • 3+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role and SAT
  • 3+ years' experience utilizing Microsoft Office and applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access and Tableau
  • Experience with analytical and complex problem solving
  • Experience presenting findings to cross functional partners and senior and/or executive leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in driving compliance culture and risk mitigation
  • 5+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
  • 5+ years of experience in operations analysis or operations research
  • Proficiency in the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving
  • 3+ year of experience presenting information to senior leadership

Summary pay range: $106,250 - $143,750
