SharePoint Engineer

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Design, set up, and manage a set of SharePoint environments to be integrated with existing technologies on the network
• Ensure the security of the environment meets the security requirements and conforms to the IT Service Management rules
• Leverage the best practices for information management on the technology to ensure User Acceptance
• Deliver expertise in Identity Management, Access Control, and Federation Architectures, and how to integrate these into the delivered solution
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the documentation
• Integrate the solutions with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Splunk, and Power BI
• Work closely with other team members and users to integrate feedback and constantly improve the quality of the delivered solution

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Good knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint Online
• Hands-on experience in designing, installing, and managing complex and modern Microsoft SharePoint environments
• Extensive experience with SPFx
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Experience with database administration and patch management
• Extensive experience in user-centered development approaches and working in an agile project management framework
• Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IDAM) environment, including Active Directory Federation Service, and other tools like Keycloak
• Work experience using Microsoft SCCM, SQL Server, and Exchange
• In-depth understanding of infrastructure concepts related to Hosting, Networks, IP address Management, firewalls, certificates, Load balancing, and Proxy
• Knowledge and experience with scripting languages and integration tools, including PowerShell, Python, and SQL
• Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts and network communication protocols
• Experience developing .NET desktop applications would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Oracle, and NoSQL databases would be a plus
• Working experience in the cybersecurity area would be a plus
• Excellent use of the English language (verbal & written)
