Job Description:
Successful candidates will be responsible for the configuration, development, support, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow solutions in live production environments, helping organizations optimize service delivery, automate workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across one or more functional areas, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.
- Develop and enhance workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, service catalog items, forms, and approval processes.
- Build and maintain automation using Flow Designer and other ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- Support incident, problem, change, request, asset, case management, and configuration management processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production defects, system issues, and performance concerns.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, service owners, platform teams, and integration teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Support release management activities, including testing, deployment, validation, and post-release support.
- Contribute to platform governance, development standards, reusable design patterns, and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on service delivery, user experience, automation, data quality, and operational excellence.
- Work effectively within Agile, iterative, or hybrid delivery environments.
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (senior opportunities available for candidates with 7+ years of experience).
- Strong experience in one or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or CMDB.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
- Experience configuring workflows, forms, catalog items, approvals, notifications, and service processes.
- Experience supporting production environments, including defect resolution, enhancements, and operational support activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party system integrations.
- Exposure to Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, Asset Management, CMDB, or Data Reconciliation processes.
- Experience working in large-scale, enterprise ServiceNow environments.
- Knowledge of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ServiceNow best practices.
- Experience with customer-facing portals, workspaces, or employee service delivery solutions.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-HR, CIS-CSM, CIS-ITOM, or related certifications.
