About the Role
Helium SEO is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Strategist to develop and lead comprehensive search engine optimization initiatives. This role requires advanced analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable SEO strategies that drive measurable results.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Data Analysis & Planning

• Conduct sophisticated data analysis to design high-impact SEO strategies for medium-enterprise clients
• Synthesize complex data sets from multiple SEO platforms to identify market opportunities and competitive advantages
• Create data-driven forecasting models to predict SEO performance and ROI

Content Strategy & Optimization

• Develop comprehensive content strategies based on advanced keyword research and competitive analysis
• Provide expert consultation on content architecture and semantic relevance
• Lead site-wide content audits and develop remediation roadmaps

Technical SEO Leadership

• Architect and implement advanced technical SEO solutions
• Direct technical SEO audits and prioritize critical improvements
• Design and optimize schema implementation, site architecture, internal linking structures, and crawl efficiency

Strategic Consultation

• Serve as the principal technical advisor to cross-functional teams, including account management and sales
• Translate complex SEO concepts into actionable business insights for clients
• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for challenging SEO problems

QualificationsRequired Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of demonstrated success in search engine optimization, with progressive responsibility
• Proven track record developing and implementing successful SEO strategies
• Advanced knowledge of technical SEO, content optimization, and search algorithms
• Superior analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
• Expert-level proficiency with enterprise SEO tools, Google Analytics, and search console
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of machine learning and AI in search
• Experience with enterprise-level websites and complex SEO challenges
• History of driving significant organic traffic and revenue growth
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
• Industry certifications (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation includes a highly competitive base salary.
