Location: 
We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London, and Gurgaon. This role will be out of our Gurgaon office. You can have the flexibility to work in office and from home. 
 
About the Role:
We are looking to grow our SEO team at Trusted Media Brands (TMB) and hiring a Sr. SEO Manager who will help build out a team of analysts in our India office.  This role will oversee the day-to-day management of a team of SEO managers and analysts, ensuring they are effectively executing their tasks, meeting performance goals, and optimizing our digital content for search engines.  
About You:
You are a SEO expert with a strong emphasis on operational management, team leadership, and execution within a publishing/media environment. As a Sr. SEO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our SEO team, focusing on operational excellence and the effective execution of our SEO initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Help hire, manage, mentor and coach a team of SEO analysts, providing them with the guidance, resources, and support needed to excel in their roles 
  • Regularly report on team contributions, including goal setting, progress monitoring, and utilization rates 
  • Monitor and optimize the team’s operational workflows to ensure efficient execution and quality delivery of SEO tasks, including content updates, keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO improvements 
  • Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure all content is optimized for search engines and users  
  • Oversee the operation of an “SEO help desk” to support internal stakeholders with timely SEO insights and assistance  
  • Help maintain and analyze dashboards in Looker and provide regular insights and recommendations to brand SEO managers and other stakeholders  
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Sistrix, Ahrefs, Search Console, and more, to identify opportunities and issues  
  • Continuously seek and implement workflow enhancements and technological solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the SEO team  
  • Monitor and analyze SEO trends and competitors to identify new opportunities, best-practices, and prepare for challenges

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of SEO experience with Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team focused on operational excellence and meeting performance targets  
  • Experience in web analytic and data visualization tools like Looker, Looker Studio, and Google Analytics (exposure to GA4 preferred), with a knack for translating data into actionable insights  
  • Clear understanding of SEO best practices related to EEAT, CWV, and all it takes to be successful as a digital publisher in 2024 and beyond  
  • A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly  
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets  
  • Perpetual curiosity and a willingness to research 
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in an agile publishing environment
