Purpose

The Senior Security Engineer is a member of the global team of highly qualified/expert Engineers in data center technologies including all of Storage, Server and systems management. Security Engineering focuses on security aspects in the design of systems that need to be able to deal robustly with possible sources of disruption, ranging from natural disasters to malicious acts. To support the delivery of engineering solutions that satisfy functional and user requirements, but with the added dimension of preventing misuse and malicious behavior.

WHAT WILL YOU DO :

• is responsible for onboarding systems into the SIEM tool ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• The job involves ensuring that all new systems and applications generating logs are correctly logging relevant data, which is then processed in the SIEM tool.
• Provides analytical and technical security recommendations to other team members, oversight boards, and clients. Identifies requirements, based upon need or as the result of a security issue that puts organizations systems at risk.
• Working on projects to ensure secure solutions implemented
• Working on vulnerabilities – finding solutions, testing, packaging up for operations
• Develops technology to automate security monitoring
• Develop, debug, test and support the certification process
• Create, maintain, and document security baselines

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

Have a knowledge in:

• Master’s degree
• Networking
• IT security - MITRE ATT&CK, Threat Hunting, Anomaly Detection, etc.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, or specific ELK certifications would be nice

Nice to have :

• Ansible
• Firewalls
• Linux server, Windows server
• Apache Web Server, Nginx, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• YAML file in the context of container logging
• MariaDB, PostgreSQL DB, Firebird SQL DB, MongoDB
• Keycloak, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACS

Languages

• English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2500 € /brutto.
