As a senior member of the Security Engineering team, you will have a meaningful impact on the security of millions of Cisco Meraki users all around the world. We are looking for people who are passionate about security and eager to work across teams to help engineer and improve our security controls and systems. Key Responsibilities
IAM Strategy:
- Own the development and execution of IAM strategies, considering the organization's long-term goals, scalability, and evolving security landscape.
Design and Develop IAM Solutions:
- Architect, design, and guide implementation of robust Identity and Access Management solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
Access Control and Authorization:
- Define and implement access controls, permissions, and authorization policies to ensure secure access to systems, applications, and data.
Integration and Deployment:
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure and applications. Lead deployment activities and provide technical support.
Risk Management:
- Assess and give SME to mitigate risks related to identity access and management staying abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Communication:
- Represent technical viewpoints to diverse audiences and in making timely and prudent technical risk decision recommendations.
Compliance:
- Ensure IAM solutions align with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices. Participate in audits and provide vital documentation.
Documentation and Training:
- Build comprehensive documentation for IAM processes, configurations, and policies. Conduct training sessions for internal teams on IAM standard processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Shown leadership as a Security Professional with 3-5 years as an IAM Architect or in a similar capacity directly responsible for delivering on major enterprise IAM solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, standards, and protocols including SPIFEE/SPIRE, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID
- Experience with IAM tools: CyberArk, SailPoint, & Okta or similar
- Strong expertise in crafting and implementing IAM solutions, including access control, authentication, and authorization.
- 3 years of experience with Cloud platforms such as GCP, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI, SOC2, ISO 27001).

Compensation Range:
$192,200—$282,900 USD

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
