- Serve as a key resource for information security practices within the organization, advising on security architecture and system engineering.
- Perform rigorous security assessments including vulnerability scanning, risk analysis, and threat modeling.
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across diverse cloud environments.
- Automate security monitoring and compliance processes for regulatory requirements.
- Swiftly address and resolve security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Engage with various teams to drive the implementation of best security practices for improved cyber resilience.
- Keep abreast of the latest security technologies and integrate them into current practices.
- Support incident response activities and contribute to the development of security policies and procedures.
- Execute and refine new security protocols within both traditional and cloud-based applications.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge resources related to security operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SecOps, particularly in managing security in cloud environments.
- Expertise in AWS security tools (IAM, CloudTrail, WAF, SecurityHub) and Azure security components (Azure AD, Security Center).
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
- Experience with container security solutions including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud management, including networking, RBAC, and security policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for security implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and hands-on experience with products like FortiGate.
- Proficiency in endpoint protection solutions and security monitoring tools.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including access control and vulnerability management.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, and Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
