The Senior Scientist will deliver best in class scientific support for Cytiva filtration and single-use technologies to external stakeholders (customers, partners) and internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, R&D). This is a remote role, working from a home-based office close to a major airport with travel up to 50% of the time.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver best in class scientific support for Cytiva filtration and single-use technologies to external stakeholders (customers, partners) and internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, R&D).
• Give technical guidance and conduct training, site investigations and product trials for Cytiva's customers in the life science industries.
• Provide market intelligence (voice of the customer) and other technical consultation within the Cytiva organization, including at sites throughout North America and occasionally overseas.
• Work from a home-based office close to a major airport and travel up to 50% of the time. (Midwest or West Coast based highly preferred)

Who you are:

• You have a Bachelor of Science Degree in a Life Science, Physical Science, or Engineering field.
• You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry, with filtration/separation technologies and/or single-use technologies in a manufacturing (MSAT) and/or process development (PD) context. Experience in a related field (e.g., small molecule pharma, pharma process engineering) would be considered. A relevant Master’s degree would also be considered in lieu of 2 years’ experience.
• You have a holistic understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• You are comfortable working independently with customers in time-sensitive or high-exposure situations.
• You are competent with common software tools (Microsoft Office).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Fluency in Spanish

The salary range for this role is $90K-$105K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
