We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to work with our team on the design and implementation of Scala over Huawei’s public cloud.
- 3+ years of Java development experience.
- 3+ years of independent system design and implementation experience, have experience in maintaining core system modules.
- Proficient in Linux, and mastering an additional programming language (Scala, Python, C/C++, etc.) is preferred.
- Experienced in using big data components such as Spark, Flink, Hbase and Hive.
- Experience in data warehouses is preferred.
- Experienced in optimize the performance of big data software.
- Good in both written and spoken English
Responsibilities
• Contribute to Spark kernel, fixing the Spark bugs, contributing to Apache Spark Jiras in open source
• Will be responsible for the design and implementation of Big Data Spark over Huawei’s public cloud.
• Capable of handling software functions over very large volumes of data, stored in distributed storage system.
• Have the ability to understand system architecture of the product/platform.
• Create solutions for module architecture and performance optimization, and participate in the rapid iteration and development of products.
• Writing technical specs and internal documentation to share information with others.
• Solve customer bugs/issues.
