We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP CAPM Developer with strong experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), SAP Fiori/UI5, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications while ensuring seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) on SAP BTP.
- Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications with modern UI/UX standards.
- Develop backend services using Node.js/Java with CAPM, with strong focus on TypeScript.
- Implement OData services, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Integrate applications with SAP S/4HANA, third-party systems, and cloud services.
- Work with SAP BTP services such as:
- Destination Service
- XSUAA (Authentication & Authorization)
- Cloud Foundry environment
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP development.
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment)
- SAP CAPM (Node.js or Java)
- TypeScript / JavaScript (ES6+)
- Proven experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Experience working with:
- OData V2/V4 services
- CDS (Core Data Services)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and event-based systems.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) or Web IDE.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
- Knowledge of Workflow Management / SAP Build Process Automation.
- Experience with SAP HANA Cloud or databases.
- Exposure to SAP Extension Suite and side-by-side extensions.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of UI5 freestyle and Fiori Elements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
