Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
* Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patches for SAP environments.
* Administer SAP databases (HANA, Oracle, etc.) and ensure proper backup and recovery strategies are in place.
* Implement and manage transports, including managing change requests and overseeing the transport of modifications between systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to performance and availability, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Provide support for SAP Fiori and Gateway components, as well as manage user authorizations and security settings across SAP systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and processes.
* Document processes, guidelines, and system architecture to maintain clear records of system changes and configurations.
* Stay current with SAP trends and technologies, recommending improvements and enhancements where applicable.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with a strong understanding of SAP environments.
* Extensive knowledge of SAP system architecture, including SAP HANA, NetWeaver, and Cloud solutions.
* Experience with database administration (HANA, Oracle, SQL) and performance tuning.
* Strong knowledge of system landscapes, transport management systems, and change request management.
* Experience with system monitoring tools and performance analysis (such as SAP Solution Manager).
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
* SAP certifications in Basis or related areas are a plus.
