Job Responsibilities :
The SAP FICO Consultant will play a role in supporting SAP FICO / BPC modules from incidents to change requests / projects.
- Subject matter expert for FICO / BPC module, with SD/MM integration knowledge
- Participate in Project Implementation, Change Management and Service Desk function
- Serve as key conduit to logistic personnel for supporting the finance and consolidation processes
- Responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, documenting and deploying FICO/BPC functionality
- Liaise with business team to understand direction within their area of responsibility and support business initiatives
- Recognizes impacts of changes and ensures appropriate due diligence is performed before making changes and conduct thorough testing before implementing to avoid rework
- Review and recommend process revisions and improvements based on SAP FICO / BPC needs and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Pre-Requisites :
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Business, Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting is required
- Minimum of 7 years of FICO experience in a production environment with SAP S4/HANA that include the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules (FI-CO)
- Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, go live and support
- Possess good working knowledge of SAP ECC-BW/BI integration and some previous working experience on SAP Finance integration with BW/BI Environments ( e.g. SAP BW 7.4/7.5, HANA etc.) is preferred
- SAP SD and MM integration experience
- Implementation experience with BPC 11 is preferred but not essential
- SAP or other ERP project management experience is a significant plus
- International SAP experience is a plus
- Experience communicating technical and business solutions and issues to all levels of individuals, including business and technical stakeholders
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across a complex and diverse group of stakeholders
- Extensive Finance business process and functional knowledge
- Ability to manage work load and deliverables in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Self-starter with strong sense of urgency and a collaborative approach, able to thrive working with minimal supervision
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Time management skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
