Inetum is looking for a Senior SAN Storage Administrator to join our infrastructure team and play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and supporting high-performance storage systems in a complex enterprise environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and optimize SAN storage environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and troubleshoot Brocade FC switches via CLI.
- Perform advanced SAN troubleshooting and disk provisioning activities.
- Manage and support enterprise storage systems including DELL EMC, IBM, and HITACHI platforms.
- Automate tasks using shell scripting (bash, ksh), Python, Perl, and Ansible.
- Diagnose and resolve complex incidents in SAN environments, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for internal teams.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to align storage solutions with business needs.
- Support ongoing initiatives in replication, data protection, and storage scalability.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Perfect command of Brocade SAN switches and CLI-based administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with block storage systems such as:
- IBM FS9500, DELL Datadomain, DELL ECS, DELL Powerscale, DELL Unity
- Advanced knowledge of SAN disk provisioning, replication protocols, and storage performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation: Shell, Python, Ansible.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and support.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- IBM GPFS knowledge.
- Familiarity with IBM Power Systems (AIX and Linux on Power).
- Experience with virtualized environments, including VMware.
- Understanding of ITIL processes for incident and change management.
