We are looking for a Senior Sales Order Specialist to join us in Tokyo! In this role, you will be responsible for generating quotes and entering order information into relevant systems, supporting the quote to billing processes. You will spearhead and effectively executes process improvisation, changes, knowledge management, migrations and training activities.

What you'll be doing:
  • Displays proficiency and business acumen in troubleshooting, managing irate customers, handling escalations, managing nonconforming data issues, managing difficult customer communications (chat, mail, call) on a daily basis
  • Develops and leads structured on the job training, coaching for job specific tasks
  • Builds and maintains cordial relationship with partners and cross functional counterparts which will help in expediting, de-escalating and effective management of service deliverables during exception handling
  • Challenges status quo, initiate process improvement changes and projects
  • Plays a key role in validating and checking process adherence and protocols from business partners
  • Effectively reports on lead time, quality, process trending with relevant analysis, online assessment and inference related to process and business
  • Performs management duties in a back-up capacity in absence of supervisor/team lead
  • Manages client relationship during product and service fulfilment
  • Facilitates communications between key operational groups on service-impacting incidents.
  • Provides expertise to process requests on Salesforce systems and supports to resolve complex queries related to contracts or product installations
  • Supports following up or escalating pending orders and completes administrative tasks as directed by senior members of the team
  • As necessary and agreed, act as a deputy in the absence of the Team Leader/ Manager.
