Your future contribution:

With our modern technology supporting homeowners, we are looking for you to lead our sales team in delivering a strong human connection to our product and providing effective solutions that will satisfy our clients worldwide. As part of our Host Relations team, you will play a significant role in our growth plans and journey. Your goal is to successfully lead and grow our sales team, ensuring we efficiently convert users in Free Trial (inbound leads) and help them engage with our product.

All in all, it’s about people and with your help and passion for outstanding sales, we will build a state-of-the-art sales and service department at Smoobu!

With your operational expertise and experience you will be a key factor in our growth ambitions in the next few years. We just established our sales team and already see first positive results. Now is the time to refine our approach and also establish scalable processes to grow our international team(s). You will lead, manage and develop teams across different language markets and will have the chance to grow into a global role once we start expanding beyond our current scope. Your main task is driving the lower funnel conversion rate in order to ensure the effectiveness of our acquisition strategy. Part of this is creating strong storylines for our product to better tailor it to qualified leads’ interest as well as use our data analytics capabilities to actively drive efficient as well as effective development of the different agents, teams and global processes.

How you’ll add value:

  • Motivate the sales team to achieve the best results possible
  • Manage and take accountability for the entire sales organisation
  • Manage daily performance and hold regular 1:1 meetings
  • Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.
  • Continuously enhance the team’s skills by offering effective training and workshops.
  • Handle all aspects of recruitment and selection for the sales department
  • Develop a per-country approach to improve different units simultaneously
  • Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process using our CRM to boost operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high team spirit and motivation at all times.


You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • You have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in leading Inbound Inside Tele-sales teams.
  • You are living a hands-on leadership mentality and are a role model for your team.
  • You are business-driven, consistently striving to meet and surpass your KPIs
  • You are an analytical and solution-driven entrepreneur unafraid of trial and error
  • You have experience on SaaS for Small and Medium size business (SMB)
  • Proficient hands-on experience with CRM (Pipedrive and Aircall are big plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Are fluent in English (German and/or additional languages are a plus)
  • Experience working in travel tech SaaS is a big plus
