This role sits within the Electronic Execution Sales team on a dynamic, fast-paced front-office trading floor. As an execution sales specialist, you will sell J.P. Morgan's algorithmic trading products while also representing our full cash execution capabilities across program trading and high touch. You'll own and deepen relationships with our institutional client base, matching our trading and execution services to their needs, and work closely with our product, coverage, and trading teams to shape the direction of our execution offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Client engagement & SME coverage: Manage and grow relationships with institutional clients, delivering tailored execution solutions and acting as the subject-matter expert across electronic equities execution.
- Business strategy & product partnership: Partner with the Product team to anticipate regulatory and market change, and translate client and market feedback into product development priorities.
- Cross-functional coordination: Work seamlessly with coverage, product, and trading teams to optimize the end-to-end client experience and balance client, firm, and internal priorities.
- Market intelligence & insight: Gather client and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and risks; share market insights with clients and internal teams to inform strategy.
- Industry presence: Represent J.P. Morgan as a brand ambassador at client meetings, industry events, and forums, and deliver external messaging aligned to business priorities.
- Content & thought leadership: Tailor and distribute content to targeted accounts to drive engagement and position the firm as a market leader.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of execution/electronic trading sales experience within US equities at a broker-dealer or comparable institution
- Demonstrated track record selling algorithmic trading products and cash execution services to institutional clients
- Active FINRA registrations: SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 (Series 55/57 a plus) — or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame.
- Deep knowledge of US market structure, electronic execution workflows, and the institutional client landscape
- Strong relationship management, communication, and consultative selling skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing institutional client relationships in the US equities space
- Familiarity with leading EMS/OMS platforms and FIX connectivity
- Experience contributing to product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
