The Team You’ll Work With

Joining the Revenue team in this key role, you’ll work cross-functionally across Sales and Engineering to drive revenue. We are a small but mighty team of ~50, made up of passionate individuals who work hard to help clients solve real-world problems such as increasing user retention, growing sales, and improving marketing efficacy.

The Impact You’ll Have

Are you a driven Sales Executive with proven experience selling APIs, and who wants to be part of our exciting growth as we build our Go-To-Market function? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We recently launched a SaaS platform that will bring more visibility to the robust capability of our API, therefore emphasizing the need for a creative, seasoned seller to own the API sales process. You'll focus on enterprise-level API sales, targeting new business and expanding upon existing relationships with mid to large enterprises including Fortune 500 companies.


In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to increase customer expansion and drive sales growth. Whether it's mastering the intricacies of our API tool or finding creative solutions to meet client needs, you'll play a critical role in shaping the success of our company and building our Go-To-Market initiatives.


*Please note that this position is based in NYC with an in-person requirement of two to three days per week in office at Qloo’s HQ in the heart of Soho.

Our ideal candidate will immediately provide value by:

  • Driving revenue through outbound prospecting, attending industry events and trade shows, leading in-person meetings, and building Qloo’s brand awareness
  • Guiding clients through the entire sales process to secure deals and achieve sales targets, leading prospecting, meetings, presentations and follow-ups
  • Nurturing strong client relationships throughout the entire customer journey, from pre-sale to post-sale activities understanding their needs and aligning our solutions to meet them
  • Conducting initial client conversations to establish rapport and understand needs and objectives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure client success
  • Conducting effective meetings and thorough preparation at all stages of the sales cycle 
  • Owning, refining, and contributing to sales and marketing materials to ensure they resonate with target audiences
  • Partnering with the wider team to provide essential marketing support and drive sales initiatives

To be a successful match you must have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Sales or Business Development selling and pitching APIs (preferably in API or Data sales)
  • Proven track record in driving new business and meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a knack for easily building relationships and appealing to a wide range of ICPs such as C-Suite Executives, Technical, Product, and Innovation leaders at large corporations 
  • Ability to roll-up your sleeves, be a self-starter, and work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Able to navigate the complexities and needs of clients across industries, sizes, and lifecycles from a consultative standpoint with creativity

We are open to different backgrounds and tenure for this hire and compensation will be commensurate with experience. Please note that equity may be included in our total package, depending on role and level.
