Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. How Will You Contribute to the Company?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Senior Consulting Engineer of OEM and Embedded Partner Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for helping drive revenue growth by establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with large OEMs, particularly in the IoT sector, and focusing on the integration into their solutions. Your expertise in IT security and understanding of the cellular router landscape will be crucial in positioning our products as the go-to choice for our partners.
This Technical leader will collaborate with product, engineering, business development, marketing, sales, to drive sales to strategic OEM and Embedded partners and to develop unique solutions leveraging the Company Platform.
What Will You Do?

Work with OEM Partner team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to establish and expand relationships with key OEMs and embedded partners in the IoT industry

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our products into partner solutions, addressing specific industry needs and enhancing overall product value

Achieve sales targets and foster long-term partner relationships

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge

Act as a thought leader in IT security, guiding partners on best practices and ensuring our products align with the highest standards in data protection and network security

Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical expert on our product offerings, with a deep understanding of embedded systems, IoT applications, and integration with advanced technologies including 5G

Solution Development: Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and develop customized solutions that align with their business objectives

Sales Support: Partner with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, providing technical consultations, conducting product demonstrations, and addressing customer inquiries to drive opportunities to closure

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth

Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and market strategies

Quickly establish a trusting relationship with partners, and internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization

Direct the planning, implementation, and oversight of marketing strategies geared toward reaching sales goals, accumulating clients, and growing the business

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

Ten (10+) years of professional experience in the networking and high-tech industry

Five (5+) years in a leadership position

Technical Expertise:
-
Embedded Systems: Comprehensive understanding of embedded systems architecture, including hardware components and software frameworks
-
IoT Platforms: Proficiency in IoT platforms and protocols, with experience in designing and deploying IoT solutions
-
Connectivity Technologies: In-depth knowledge of connectivity technologies such as 5G, LTE-M, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and their application in IoT deployments
-
Security: Familiarity with IoT security principles and protocols, SDWAN, ZTNA, as well as encryption, authentication, and secure data transmission
-
Software Development: Good understanding of software development methodologies and programming languages, beneficial for technical discussions and solution customization. Including AI platforms, Cloud computing, and Edge computing

Hardware Skills: Familiarity with hardware components, sensors, and devices commonly used in IoT and embedded systems

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences

Proven experience in senior sales roles, with a focus on OEM and embedded partner engagement in networking

At Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.
Your Pay:
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
$126,000.00 - $234,000.00
Your pay also includes the opportunity for monthly sales incentives. Actual payouts are dependent upon the attainment of agreed to revenue goals and objectives as determined by our management team.

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays). Please note that an employee’s FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. We also offer paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
