Role Purpose:
We are looking for a high-performance, new business hunter who thrives on opening doors, building pipeline, and closing complex deals.
This is a field-based, client-facing role focused on acquiring new customers in the SME and mid-market space. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial ability with a solid technical foundation and is comfortable engaging with business owners, IT managers, and CTOs.
You will take ownership of the full new business cycle, from prospecting through to deal closure, selling hosting, infrastructure, and online growth solutions that directly impact your clients’ performance.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
New business development
- Proactively identify, target, and acquire new SME and mid-market customers
- Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline through outbound activity, networking, referrals, and industry engagement
- Conduct in-person and online client meetings and presentations
- Consistently exceed new revenue targets
Consultative solution selling
- Engage with business owners, technical decision-makers, and C-level stakeholders
- Understand client environments, growth goals, and infrastructure requirements
- Position hosting, cloud, and digital solutions as business enablers
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and solution recommendations
Sales execution & reporting
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting
- Work closely with marketing, tech and support teams to structure the right solutions
- Ensure smooth handover of new clients into onboarding
Market presence
- Represent the company at client meetings, events, and partner engagements
- Build strong relationships within the SME and technology ecosystem
- Act as a trusted advisor in the digital growth space
Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record in new business development (hunter profile)
- Experience selling technical solutions
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to engage with IT stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Valid driver’s licence, own transport and willingness to travel
