Senior Ruby on Rails Engineers

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, build, and scale distributed backend systems to support financial and mission-critical workloads.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, clean, and secure Ruby code, ensuring reliability and long-term maintainability.

• Work with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and apply solid principles of data modeling, transactional consistency, and high-throughput architectures.

• Leverage NoSQL and caching solutions to optimize performance and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, Risk, and Platform teams to deliver impactful, business-driven solutions.

• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and best practice initiatives.

You are a good match if you have

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with proven ability to build and scale distributed systems.

• Deep expertise in data modeling, transaction management, and system performance optimization.

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with NoSQL and caching technologies.

• Excellent coding skills in Ruby, following best practices for code clarity, maintainability, and security.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams.
   

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.

• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures.

• Exposure to monitoring, observability, and DevOps tools.
