We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team on a payment platform for pharmacies. This role involves developing and enhancing a platform that handles complex business logic, integrates with external systems, and provides critical services to clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of total backend development experience.
- Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Expertise in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of backend development concepts, architectural patterns, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience with React is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails.
- Implement and optimize database solutions (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Address architectural and performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to HTTP protocol standards.
- Integrate with and utilize cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Contribute to technical discussions and provide clear communication.
- Work with React for frontend integration.
