Senior Risk Engineer
Abu Dhabi
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Risk Engineer to join our PMC team on a major infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead risk management and quantitative risk analysis activities across infrastructure projects, supporting effective decision-making and mitigation planning throughout project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead risk management activities including risk identification, assessment, response planning, and ongoing monitoring.
Facilitate risk workshops and maintain an accurate, up-to-date risk register (threats/opportunities, owners, actions, status).
Perform Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) for cost and schedule.
Interface with key stakeholders, attending regular meetings and ensuring alignment on risk management practices.
Develop mitigation strategies, track implementation of risk responses and report changes in risk exposure.
Prepare and present risk reports and analytics, communicating trends, key risks, and recommended actions.
Support resolution of complex risk issues related to design changes, construction impacts, and schedule delays.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management or related field.
Minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience in relevant infrastructure projects, including utilities projects (preferably in the wastewater/water/sewerage sectors).
Hands-on experience with Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk, Active Risk Management (ARM) and quantitative risk techniques.
Strong expertise in QRA and risk modelling.
Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to present risk outputs and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
