Hexcel is currently seeking a Senior Risk Analyst- Insurance for our Stamford, CT, USA location.

Reporting to the VP of Treasury, this role plays a critical part in supporting global risk management and insurance strategy. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, cross‑functional partnership skills, and a proactive mindset to drive risk mitigation across the organization.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Manage underwriting data collection and analysis for global insurance program renewals
  • Develop accruals and prepare management reporting and analysis
  • Review insurance requirements within commercial contracts and support related risk‑mitigation actions
  • Drive cross‑functional risk‑mitigation initiatives in partnership with EHS, plant leadership, and Legal
  • Manage self‑insured claims valuation with external actuaries and ensure accrual adequacy
  • Oversee insurance claims, ensuring timely investigation, reporting, and resolution
  • Manage audit requirements, including Sarbanes‑Oxley reporting
  • Support M&A activity, including data collection, risk evaluation, and onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with Workers’ Compensation regulations in monopolistic states and manage Certificates of Insurance/proof of insurance processes
  • Maintain SharePoint process documents and resources; manage the Surety Bond issuance program, including sizing and invoicing; and support additional projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; insurance/risk management coursework or certifications a plus

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in insurance, risk management, or a related area

  • Self-directed with strong organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills

  • Ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High integrity and work standards with attention to details and accuracy

  • Ability to travel up to 10% to Hexcel sites, globally
