Our mission is to bring AI into the real world, and we believe audio is the gateway. Speech is versatile, accessible, and human. It fits naturally into everyday life. As audio AI advances and new use cases emerge, high-quality training data is the bottleneck. This is where David AI comes in.
David AI was founded in 2024 by a team of former Scale AI engineers and operators. In less than a year, we brought on most FAANG companies and AI labs as customers. We recently raised a $50M Series B from Meritech, NVIDIA, Jack Altman (Alt Capital), Amplify Partners, First Round Capital and other Tier 1 investors.

About the Role
The person who takes this role will sit at the center of our recruiting effort, owning the coordination that keeps everything moving and caring deeply about doing it well.
This is also a role with real room to grow, and a chance to build from a blank slate. Many of our recruiting processes are still being created from scratch, and the right person will help build the systems, workflows, reporting, and infrastructure that make recruiting faster, sharper, and more scalable as we grow.
What You'll Do
Own interview scheduling end-to-end across multiple roles and pipelines with precision, speed, and ensuring no candidates fall through the cracks
Be the first real impression many candidates have of David AI and make it a good one
Keep Ashby accurate and current at all times, including stage updates, candidate notes, and pipeline hygiene
Draft candidate-facing communications that are warm, clear, and human
Anticipate problems before they happen and surface them before they become someone else's emergency
Support offer logistics, background checks, and the handoff to onboarding
Build the systems and templates that make this function faster and more consistent over time
Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep every search on track
Support recruiting operations projects as we scale, from process improvements and reporting to systems hygiene and candidate experience infrastructure
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in recruiting coordination; you've operated in fast-paced, high-bar environments and are motivated by achieving ambitious hiring goals
Recruiting operations experience is a big plus, especially if you've helped improve systems, workflows, reporting, or process at a scaling company
Exceptional organizational instincts; you notice what others miss and fix it without being asked
Genuine care for the candidate experience, not as a value on a slide, but as a standard you hold yourself to
Strong written communication; your emails are clear, warm, and get responses
Comfort operating in ambiguity; the playbook here is still being written, and you're energized, not unsettled, by that
The instinct to build relationships, not just manage transactions
A standard for your own work that is, frankly, a little unreasonable

- Recruiting operations experience (improving systems, workflows, reporting)

- High standard for quality of work
- Experience using and maintaining ATS (Ashby) including stage updates and pipeline hygiene
- Experience supporting offer logistics, background checks, and onboarding handoffs
