Position Summary

The Senior Receivables Solutions Advisor is responsible for optimizing client receivables processes through payment acceptance, cash application, collections, and automation solutions. This role partners with prospective and existing clients to identify challenges, recommend tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth while improving clients' cash flow and operational efficiency. The Advisor works directly in identified Busey markets with Treasury Management teams to assist in identifying opportunities, providing strategic receivables solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to drive growth with prospects and clients.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities related to accounts receivable and payment solutions.
  • Identify customer needs, present payment and receivables solutions, and manage opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management teams across multiple Busey Bank markets to drive business growth with the TMs’ clients and prospects.  
  • Establish consultative sales approach to recommend and demonstrate accounts receivable automation through electronic payments and integrated receivables solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, prospects, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Actively maintain and develop a book of current clients providing ongoing support, quarterly business reviews, and contract negotiation.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and implementation plans that address client needs.
  • Collaborate with implementation, operations, product, and customer success teams to ensure successful deployment of solutions while also being a trusted advisor to clients and Treasury Management sales teams.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline through utilization of CRM (Hubspot and/or Salesforce experience) and achieve established revenue and growth targets.
  • Stay current on industry trends, payment technologies, regulatory requirements, and competitive offerings. Provide feedback to product teams.
  • Execute multi-channel sales strategy utilizing CRM campaigns, email outreach, cold calling, tradeshows, conferences, and other business development efforts generate qualified opportunities.
  • Provide continuous education and become trusted advisor to all Treasury Management associates.

Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Goal oriented, ambitious, and a sense of urgency to drive results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required both internally and externally with Busey and FirsTech teams, clients, prospects, and partners.
  • Effective active listening skills with analytical and problem solving capabilities; strong consultative, selling skills
  • Expertise in receivables product knowledge and solutions
  • Possess an astute sales focus, providing added value and needs based solutions to client

Education and Training:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Finance, Business, or Technology
  • Requires 5 or more years sales experience with a demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing sales goals

Compensation and Benefits 

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance. 

(Base Pay Range: $90,000.00 - 128,000.00/year)
