Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and execute scientific investigations to drive the development of innovative new products and enhance existing offerings.   

  • Design of Experiment (DOE), and performance evaluation, primarily focusing on thermal conductive interface materials, but also including related products across the entire department.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, application engineer, quality, commercial, sourcing, and supply chain, to develop, enhance, and commercialize new products and differentiated solutions.

  • Execute activities such as prototyping, laboratory work, technical service, troubleshooting, and hands-on tasks to support project initiatives.

  • Lead projects and deliver project results on schedule, ensuring both quality and feasibility in alignment with business needs.

  • Introduce new technologies to create competitive advantage and identify improvement opportunities for business growth.  

  • Actively engages in multi-disciplinary product development teams, with the potential to lead a team. Provide guidance, train and assist the team with skills in the area of specialty.

  • Ensure compliance with global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, protect intellectual property, and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • A PhD degree or a master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Material Science.

  • Experience in formulation development, Design of Experiments (DOE), and industrial working experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated excellent logical thinking abilities.

  • Demonstrated technical performance in relevant projects or roles.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.

  • Able to demonstrate a high level of learning agility with the ability to adapt and learn new materials and processes.

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Proactive, open-minded and a collaborative team player.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability, with the ability to own initiative and result oriented.
