We are looking for QA Engineers to join our expanding Tech & Product team. As part of a strategic investment in our technology, we are building new teams to enhance our platform and develop innovative eCommerce products that will shape the future of online shopping.
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will work closely with the team to integrate testing processes throughout the entire development lifecycle. You'll collaborate with the Quality Lead to provide critical insights into feature quality, and ensure that testing strategies align with project goals. This role will also require close coordination with both the quality team and broader organization as part of a new, exciting cross-domain project.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure features are delivered with the highest quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to incoming dependencies and potential project bottlenecks, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
- Integrate testing from the earliest stages of the Agile development process, ensuring continuous validation of features.
- Develop and execute test cases and scenarios, including exploratory testing.
- Provide key feedback to the Quality Lead on feature quality, highlighting areas of concern and improvement opportunities.
- Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies, contributing to planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proactively engage in backlog refinement meetings, asking insightful questions to clarify requirements and highlight gaps.
- Strong functional QA experience in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in API testing and cross-platform integration.
- Experience with SQL and Cosmos DB testing, and log analysis.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery environments.
- Automation testing experience is a must.
- Knowledge of Confluent Platform (Kafka) and Azure Portal is advantageous.
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a passion for learning.
