As a Senior QA Engineer, you will help drive our transition toward an automation-first quality engineering approach. You will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to improve test coverage, reliability, and delivery confidence through a combination of strong testing fundamentals, automation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test strategies across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated test suites and frameworks.
- Increase automation coverage and reduce manual regression effort.
- Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API, integration, regression, exploratory, and risk-based testing.
- Identify quality risks and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to QA standards, best practices, and process improvements.
- Mentor team members and promote a quality-first engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience building or improving automation frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and automation.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, and software testing principles.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Performance testing or large-scale system experience is a plus.
