Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Experience: Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience. Academic Background: Computer Science or other STEM disciplines.
Technical Skills
- Good Programming experience in Type script/Java script
- Experience in UI Test Automation using Selenium, Playwright, WebDriverIO Automation and specifically writing code in Type script or Java

- Be skilled in core data structures and algorithms

Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for testing a feature and or a small feature set. Contributes to the team and works with direction from Senior Team Members or management; increasing the ability to work independently. In this role, you will:
- Break down testing problems, estimate effort, and independently deliver high-quality testing, test case creation, and automation for features and small feature sets.
- Apply SDLC principles and testing methodologies (Agile, Lean, XP, CI/CD, Continuous Testing, Scalability, and Test Design techniques) throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable UI/API automation frameworks, reusable components, utilities, and coding standards that improve automation efficiency, execution speed, and maintainability. Create, configure, and maintain automated test suites, testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), including quality gates, parallel execution, environment validation, and system-level integration testing.
- Write effective, maintainable, and reusable automated tests that validate critical functional requirements and remain resilient to application changes and code refactoring.
- Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot issues across applications, APIs, automation frameworks, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines; collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve build quality.
- Collaborate with Quality Leaders and cross-functional teams to create test plans, define automation strategies, establish quality metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and continuously improve quality engineering practices.
- Demonstrate expertise in application domains, core data structures, algorithms, testing tools, automation best practices, and modern Quality Engineering technologies, including AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, conduct code reviews, share technical knowledge, and provide guidance on automation frameworks, best practices, and testing methodologies.
- Take ownership of deliverables, identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, implement reusable automation solutions, and contribute to organizational quality and engineering excellence.
