As a Senior QA Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered to specification and quality
goals by leveraging tools, frameworks and programmatic techniques. An ideal candidate for this role matches the
following role requirements and carries the below qualities & characteristics.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of experience in QA with at least 3+ years in applying tools, frameworks and programmatic techniques to quality assurance of web, mobile web, and mobile apps.
- Expertise in executing manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management/ tracking tools.
- Strong experience in implementing QA automation using code-based frameworks such as Cypress / Playwright.
- Strong experience with codeless automation tools such as Ghost Inspector.
- Experience testing web services / APIs using API automation testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience testing emails using Litmus / Email On Acid.
- Experience in one or more NFR testing areas such as Security, Load and Performance using tools like JMeter, Load Runner and OWASP.
- Experience in integrating QA automation / NFR scripts with DevOps tools such as Jenkins / Teamcity.
- Experience using CMS systems such as AEM & Contentful as part of the technology solution - either in a Traditional or Headless implementation.
- Experience using QA Cloud / SaaS platforms such as Applitools / Saucelabs / BrowserStack
- Experience in estimating, planning and coordinating testing activities for small to medium complexity projects.
- Experience in creating detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Exposure to web accessibility testing and client-side performance testing.
