The Senior Quality Analyst – Product Development plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, secure, and reliable products. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to define quality standards, build robust test strategies, and validate product functionality across complex, integrated modules. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive functional, integration, and security tests, while also driving automation initiatives that strengthen our CI/CD pipeline.
This role requires a strong blend of hands-on testing expertise, solid understanding of modern testing frameworks, and the ability to identify potential risks early in the development lifecycle. You will bring a security-first mindset, applying OWASP principles and API security best practices to ensure trustworthy product experiences. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to process improvements, mentor team members, and influence product quality through proactive collaboration and data-driven insights.
We'll trust you to:
- Partner with product managers to define acceptance criteria, quality metrics, and release criteria for product milestones
- Develop and maintain product-level test strategies and comprehensive test suites aligned with product features and user journeys
- Design and execute test scenarios that validate end-to-end workflows, edge cases, and usability across integrated product modules
- Conduct security assessments, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and role-based access control
- Perform input validation and API security testing covering token handling, rate limiting, and error message sanitization
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated regression suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines, including SAST/DAST security scanning tools
- Identify, document, track, and prioritise defects and security vulnerabilities with clear reproduction steps and risk assessment
- Collaborate with developers on root cause analysis, defect trends, and process improvements to prevent recurrence
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide quality and security insights during product reviews and retrospectives
You'll need to have:
- 4+ years of proven work experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a product development environment
- Experience creating comprehensive test plans with well-defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specifications
- Proven experience in test automation using Selenium or Playwright with frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), data-driven, or keyword-driven approaches
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- SQL proficiency for data validation and test data setup
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and hands-on experience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML), role-based access control, and multi-tenant data isolation testing
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail and a security-conscious mindset
- Ability to manage multiple products with competing priorities while maintaining the highest quality and security standards
- Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in raising concerns, making quality decisions, and suggesting solutions
- Effective communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomes
