We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on automation testing for a suite of plugins designed for popular e-commerce platforms, primarily for checkout and payment gateway integrations. You will play a key role in establishing a strong foundation for testing multiple projects, ensuring top-notch quality and reliability across all deliverables.

In this role, you will

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for plugins across various e-commerce platforms.
• Define and implement testing strategies tailored to each project, establishing a robust testing foundation.
• Validate functionalities, compatibility, and performance of checkout and payment gateway integrations.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage and address defects effectively.
• Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Provide detailed test documentation, including plans, scripts, and reports.
• Ensure the quality of multiple e-commerce projects through scalable testing solutions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in English to report on testing progress and results.

What you will bring

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Control, with at least 3 years focused on automation testing.
• Proficiency with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience testing checkout processes and payment gateway integrations is a must.
• Ability to create and maintain reusable testing frameworks across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests in DevOps workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Exposure to e-commerce compliance and payment standards.
